Himesh ready to rock Fiji Bollywood actor, singer, composer and music director Himesh Reshammiya says he is touched by the Fijian way of life and is ready to entertain and rock Fijians in Suva and Nadi.

The 41-year-old who will perform for the first time in Suva tonight said he was amazed and captivated by the warmth and friendliness of Fijian people and is really psyched up to deliver full entertainment to his fans.

“I am really touched by Fiji’s beauty. The people here are so friendly, always smiling and the environment here is so serene, fresh and beautiful. This place gives me an emotional connection and I am more than ready to rock with all Fijians in my two shows,” he said.

“We do not feel that we are away from India. This place is so beautiful and people are so helpful, caring and loving. The weather is also good and the scenery and surroundings are just superb, mind-blowing and fantastic.”

“My crew has worked hard in the preparations for the two shows and people should come out and enjoy a feast of music and entertainment. I will be singing all the hit numbers from my albums and movies and surely it will be a rocking night where we will convert the stadium into a night club and there will be lots of happiness and merry making in the air.”

Show promoter Samuel Sen is urging all Bollywood fans in Fiji not to miss the show as it has 100% international content and an artist of Reshammiya's caliber who is an international icon and has performed in many parts of the globe.

"This show will be one of its kind as we have brought one of Bollywood's established and current hit singer, composer and actor and people should not miss out. Himesh and the group have prepared thoroughly for the Fiji shows and we are assuring 3 hours plus of full, solid and rocking entertainment," he said.

Reshammiya and his 14-member troupe which includes dancers, musicians and two lead singers Aman Trikha and Akasa Singh will perform at the FMF National Gymnasium from 7pm tonight.
